HANOI, Sept. 4 (Xinhua) -- Vietnam earned 45.37 billion U.S. dollars from agro-forestry-fisheries exports in the first eight months of 2025, up 12 percent year on year, local daily Suc Khoe & Doi Song (Health & Life) reported Thursday, citing the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment.
Agricultural products accounted for the largest share, with exports totaling 24.42 billion dollars, rising 13.8 percent from a year earlier.
Forestry exports reached 11.9 billion dollars, up 6.6 percent, while livestock products surged 24.5 percent to 410.7 million dollars.
Aquatic products also recorded strong export growth, rising 11.5 percent to 7.03 billion dollars, according to the ministry.
Asia continued to be Vietnam's largest market, accounting for 43.1 percent of the total export value.
Coffee recorded the strongest growth among major exports, with 1.2 million tons shipped abroad worth 6.42 billion dollars, the report said. ■
